Ohio’s Automobile Window Tint Laws
A quick breakdown of Ohio’s window tinting laws
Front side windows (drivers side and passenger side) are permitted sun-screening tint with a visible light transmission of no less than 50% (plus or minus 3%)
Front windshield is permitted sun-screening tint with a visible light transmission of no less than 70% (plus or minus 3%) and cannot be red or yellow in color
No reflectorized materials shall be permitted upon or in any front windshield, side windows, sidewings or rear window.
